EXP1 Draft1

  1. I feel you have been quite succesful in you 3D visualisation of your section. It is easy to fall into the trap of drawing your section, and extending it along one axis, but you have experimented and ultimately created something quite unique and engaging from a multitude of angles. Each of the different views presented reveal a different aspect of the architecture, but still captures the essence of what you protrayed in two dimensions in your section. my favourite view is the second photo, of the undergroud element, which i could imagine as a distinct interior working space, or a private retreat for your artist.
This work could be improved by giving some sense of scale and dimension to the model as a whole. Perhaps some more interaction with the water line as your datum could be made, such as a jetty like structure extending out over the water, or a central meeting place using the water as an aesthetic element. Also, deleting unecessary geometry and lines, as well as closing up surfaces, or giving them depth and width, could improve the overall presentation of the model. However, at this stage, it is a fairly impressive visualisation, with huge potential, especially for the gallery space. Perhaps the gallery could somehow be integrated with the water.
